AlbumDeck
Flip through your music collection like a shelf of CDs — album by album, cover by cover.
Frequently asked questions
I don’t see any albums — why?
AlbumDeck is a new interface for the library you already have – playback runs through Apple's Music app, which must be installed on your device. AlbumDeck is not a streaming service of its own and needs no subscription: it shows exactly the music you already own.
The app needs access to your music library. Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Media & Apple Music and enable access for AlbumDeck, then restart the app once. If your library is empty, you can explore the app in demo mode with sample albums.
Which music sources are supported?
AlbumDeck shows everything in your iOS media library — music stored locally as well as Apple Music content you’ve added to your library. Other streaming services are currently not supported.
Some albums are missing their cover art.
AlbumDeck displays the artwork stored in your library. If a cover is missing, it wasn’t included when the music was added — AlbumDeck then shows a clean placeholder so your shelf stays tidy. Adding the artwork in the Music app will make it appear in AlbumDeck too. One more case: an Apple Music album you have only just added to your library can show a placeholder at first, until iOS fetches its artwork — downloading the album speeds this up. From version 1.2, AlbumDeck loads missing covers automatically, straight from Apple.
I found a bug or have a feature request.
We’d love to hear from you! Send us an email — for bug reports, a short description, your iPhone model and iOS version help a lot. Feature requests are collected and feed into our planning.
Why does the app look different on my device than in the screenshots?
The translucent Liquid Glass look requires iOS 26. On iOS 18 AlbumDeck runs fully, just without the glass surfaces — the app then looks slightly different. Liquid Glass can also be switched off in the app's settings.
What is AlbumDeck?

Does AlbumDeck work with Apple Music?
Yes. AlbumDeck shows the music in your iOS library, including Apple Music content you have added; playback runs through the system player.
How much does AlbumDeck cost?
AlbumDeck is a one-time purchase of $0.99 (US App Store). No subscription, no in-app purchases. The exact price varies slightly by country.
Does AlbumDeck show ads or track me?

Which devices does AlbumDeck run on?
AlbumDeck runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 18 or later.
